What's Required To Do An Effective Cleansing Fast?

that have accumulated in your system through all those years of careless living. With this fast, you will be
avoiding the usual food that you are eating, while keeping yourself hydrated by drinking more water than you have

1-Day to 7-Day Fasts
There are different kinds of fasts which you can safely undertake. You can take a one-day fast to relieve you of
a certain problem or up to 7 days to cleanse the majority of toxins in your system. Most one-day fasts would
require you to take a juice diet consisting of fruit and vegetable juices. Other longer programs require you to cut
on your processed food intake and eat only natural and organically grown food together with plenty of liquids.
For your longer cleansing fast to be effective, you should start gradually. Prior to your fast, don’t eat a
heavy meal. Eating a big meal before your fast will backfire in the form of headache and nausea. Eat only small
meals such as vegetable salads. This will prepare your body for the fast. Don’t try to do so much physical activity
on your first day of fasting. The safest solid food you can eat on your first day will be organic apples. Of

On your first day, drink ¼ cup of water mixed with ¼ cup of citrus juice and 1 tbsp of Epsom salts. This will
act as a laxative to make way for your fruit juice drink. Mix the juices of 2 limes and 6 oranges to 1 and ½ quarts
of water. Drink this every ½ hour until all are consumed. Repeat the same with 2 lemons and 6 grapefruits. These
drinks will sustain your bowel movement throughout the day. Finish your first day with an enema and before sleeping
drink your apple cleansing drink.
You can make your apple cleansing drink by mixing ½ cup of natural apple juice, 1 tsp of bentonite, 1 tsp of
psyllium, 1 tsp of whey powder into a 1/3 cup of water. Blend them thoroughly until they are smooth. On your second
day, drink this juice in the morning and four times (equally spaced) during the day. In between these drinks, you
can take broths, herbal teas or other natural fruit juices.
You are also advised to take two enemas a day. If all is well, the mucoid plaques lining your colon will begin
